Hello Smooth Legs in the Winter

It's easy to suffer from dry skin in the winter -- especially your legs during a time when they're not flaunted as often (in comparison to the summer). I recently started dry brushing my legs and have noticed dramatic results: my legs are way smoother.

The bristles on the dry brush are firm, but not rough, so it does a great job at sloughing off dead skin. Dry brushing users on Amazon have noted benefits like reduction in cellulite, improved circulation, unclogged pores, and glowing skin.

I use my dry brush at least once a day: every morning and sometimes in the evening before I shower. In the morning, dry brushing helps me wake up by improving blood circulation throughout my legs. I also use the brush before I shower on days where I need to shave. In doing so, I am prepping my legs for a close shave and reducing my chances of ingrown leg hairs.

Lately, I have been using the Gillette Venus Swirl for my shaving needs. The razor works well in navigating the curves of your legs thanks to its Flexiball technology (hello to smoother glides around your knees and ankles!). Surrounding the blades is a water-activated MoistureGlide serum that leaves your legs feeling soft and smooth. No need to use any shaving cream or lotion!

After dry brushing and shaving, my legs are prepped and primed to absorb body lotion! If you are like me and suffer from keratosis pilaris on your legs (aka chicken skin), try using AmLactin's Alpha-Hydroxy Therapy Moisturizing Body Lotion.

Thanks to Influenster for sending me the Gillette Venus Swirl to try for free!
